Laraib, a female student at GC University in Faisalabad, was found dead in a private dorm in an unexpected turn of events.
The occurrence, which happened recently, has left everyone in the neighborhood in a state of shock and amazement. Laraib reportedly lived in a private hostel in the Dhobi Ghat neighborhood of Faisalabad, where her health began to drastically deteriorate. Concerns for her safety prompted a quick call to the rescue squad. Tragically, despite the best efforts of the medical staff, Laraib died while being transported to Civil Hospital.
Initially, the identity of the deceased woman was uncertain. According to the initial reports, Laraib, a BS student, had died suddenly. However, further investigations revealed that the woman was Shabiran Dahri, a resident of Pejo village who was staying at a shelter home in Nawabshah. The events leading up to Shabiran Dahri’s death are currently under police investigation. It was discovered that her deteriorating health had resulted in her transfer from Darul Aman to the hospital. The fact that Shabiran had been granted a shelter home following court orders just three days earlier was also made public.
Authorities also learned that Shabiran had participated in two weddings, further complicating the matter. Ayaz Dahri, the deceased woman’s brother, made startling statements amidst the tragedy. He claimed that his sister had been given a toxic substance while she was staying at Darul Aman.
Ayaz further asserted that Shabiran’s health abruptly deteriorated while she was traveling to a court appearance. Upset and seeking justice, Ayaz claimed that his sister was Asif Dahri’s wife and pleaded with the authorities to launch a comprehensive legal investigation into the matter.
