Mohsin Baig, a journalist, was arrested at his house by the Federal Investigation Agency on Wednesday, according to his son. The FIA’s Cyber Crime Wing, working with the police, raided the journalist’s home in Islamabad, according to details.
During the raid, an FIA member was injured in a firefight, according to sources. It’s unclear who fired the shot that injured the FIA member. Videos from the scene, however, show Mohsin Baig firing rounds. Moshin Baig was also seen on Twitter bringing out the FIA member while holding a gun.

Baig’s son told Geo News that FIA agents in plainclothes came to the residence and arrested his father earlier today.
“At first, we mistook them (FIA agents) for thieves and opened fire in the air, but they eventually identified themselves as law enforcement officers.” We also requested that they produce arrest warrants, which they did not have. Meanwhile, a police team arrived to our home.”
