Sania Mirza Posts Images of Her Family in Madina

Sania Mirza, a former tennis pro from India, recently announced that she and her son, Izhaan Mirza Malik, are currently in Saudi Arabia to undertake Umrah.

The tennis pro uploaded several photos and videos to Instagram from her trip. Mirza sent two photos to her Instagram stories the day before. Mirza and her son are shown in the first picture. The 36-year-old is dressed in a black abaya and has a black scarf covering her head completely. Without any makeup, Mirza strikes a posture with her young child by her side, who looks into the camera. Mirza captioned the image with “Alhamdulillah,” tagging her location as Madina.

The Masjid-e-Nabwi in the holy city is stunningly captured in the next picture. She has handwritten the words “Very appreciative” on this photo. Insightful emotion that is typically associated with a sacred pilgrimage is conveyed through the photographs and the succinct words. Early today, Mirza posted two more images to her accounts. In the first of these images, Mirza posted a picture of a plain field with several pigeons picking food off the ground. Mount Uhud, the location of the renowned battle of Uhud during the time of the Holy Prophet, was identified as the subject of this photo (PBUH). A lone Mirza is seen heading outside Masjid-e-Nabwi once more in the final image, this time with her head lowered.

She is also covering her head and is dressed in a black abaya in this picture. The tennis player recently completed a full circle by playing her eagerly anticipated farewell match at the Lal Bahadur Tennis Stadium in Hyderabad, where she had also played her maiden match. The mother of one was upset when her lengthy career came to an end.
