PSL Season 8 Opening Ceremony to Take Place in Multan

The Pakistan Super League’s eighth season will kick off on February 13 in Multan, according to the PCB’s significant decision.

The Lahore Qalandars, the reigning champions, will play the Multan Sultans, the victorious team, in the opening game of the competition. The eighth season of the Pakistan Super League final may be played in Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore. However, the PSL’s regular schedule won’t be made public until the league’s team owners have been consulted. Pakistan Super League games will be played in Lahore, Karachi, Multan, and Rawalpindi as the host cities. The teams will battle against one another in the PSL on February 9. The first of the matches is expected to begin on February 13 while the championship game is set for March 19.

For the upcoming eighth season of the Pakistan Super League (PSL), Pakistan batsman Umar Akmal will serve as the Quetta Gladiators’ mentor. Umar scored 101 runs while playing in five games for the Gladiators during the seventh PSL season. According to the 2019 PSL champions, Umar will work as a mentor for the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) in the eighth edition of the top competition. The Silver division’s middle-order hitter was retained by Gladiators. According to PCB, the Governing Council (GC) accepted the PSL 8 dates. The PCB announced in a press release that PSL 8 would take place from February 9 to March 19, 2023, during the first week of September. Umar Akmal made 5,887 runs while representing Pakistan in 211 international contests.
