Pakistan’s Atif Butt Triumphs at ‘Thaiger Uppercut 2023’ Tekken Tournament

On Sunday, Atif Butt from Pakistan emerged victorious at the Thaiger Uppercut 2023 Tekken 7 competition, adding another esports victory to his country’s tally.

Atif reached the finals by defeating his compatriot Hafiz Tanveer 2-1 in the semifinals. He conquered LowHigh with a 3-2 score, clinching the tournament championship. Atif, the Pakistani gaming sensation, maintained his remarkable unbeaten record, securing first place in the tournament with a flawless record of eight wins and zero losses. Among the notable tournament highlights, the top eight players squared off, with LowHigh and Ulsan battling it out in the Winners semi-final, ultimately resulting in a 2-1 victory for LowHigh.

LowHigh follows in second place with 7 wins and 2 losses, maintaining a strong 77.78% set win rate. The tournament progressed through several intense rounds, where players fought fiercely to secure their positions. In the first round of the Losers bracket, Arslan Ash emerged as the winner with a convincing 2-0 victory over Patloars. The intensity continued into the Losers Quarter-Final, where CBM triumphed with a 2-0 win against Ayorichie. As the tournament unfolded, the Losers Semi-Final saw Hafiz Tanveer securing a solid 2-0 victory against Arslan Ash, marking a pivotal moment in the competition. However, the most intense moment of the competition came in the Losers Final, where Ulsan demonstrated their skill with a 2-0 win over Hafiz Tanveer, earning them a well-deserved spot in the subsequent stages of the tournament. Low High emerged victorious against Ulsan, setting the stage for a grand finale with Atif.
