The Pakistan Coast Guards (PCG) conducted a successful operation in Balochistan that led to the seizure of illegal goods with a potential market worth of $136 million.
In response to a reliable tip-off, the PCG spokesperson claimed that a raid was carried out in Kapkapar, Balochistan, which resulted in the discovery and seizure of a sizable amount of illegal drugs. The PCG team found a substantial stash of 5,166 kilograms of hashish, 274 kilograms of crystal ice, and 53 kilograms of heroin inside a vacant house.
These drugs have a total market worth of $136 million on worldwide level. The spokesperson made it clear that these unlawful chemicals were meant for smuggling abroad. Following the seizure of the contraband goods, the Pakistan Coast Guards have consequently opened a case, furthering their attempts to thwart illegal activity. In addition, two separate operations in Balochistan by the PCG resulted in the successful intercept and seizure of sizeable quantities of illegal goods.
More details about these measures were provided by the PCG spokesperson, who disclosed that a passenger vehicle was discovered to be transporting 37 kilograms of hashish during a regular inspection at the Windar Khari checkpoint in Balochistan.
