Marvel Cinematic Universe Films has recently released the teaser of its forthcoming TV show, Ms Marvel, and the most interesting thing about the flick is that its superhero is of Pakistani origin.
The series will go on-air on Disney+ with Iman Vellani donning as Kamala Khan aka Ms Marvel.
As the trailer engulfed under strict covers, the teaser throws light at one of the newest members of the superhero team. The story of Khan revolves around a 16-year-old Pakistani-American from New Jersey with the ability to quickly change shapes. Despite the plot being kept under shroud, the teaser shows a glance at Khan’s superhero qualities.
Ms Marvel is also the studio’s first female superhero from the Muslim community. The episodes have gone under direction of executive producers Sharmeen Obaid-Chino, Meera Menon, Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah.
The show is set to begin on Disney+ in the summer of next year.
