Beauty queen and former Miss Ukraine Anastasiia Lenna has ditched her high heels for combat shoes.
Anastasiia Lenna, Miss Ukraine 2015, joined the army to battle Russian forces as Vladimir Putin moves to take control of Kyiv.
The model shared on social media how she prepared to combat the Russian invasion and encouraged ladies to join the army to fight for their families and homeland.

After uploading photographs of the fight, the influencer added, “Russians out of here.” She detailed on her Instagram account how she would defend her countrymen with her AK-47 machine rifle.
She requested his followers to pray for peace in his country after the threat against the Russian troops. “The 2/2/22 – It was a special day to make a wish,” She continued. All Ukrainians, including me, thought of one thing: we want to live in peace.”
Anastasiia, like her colleague Kira Rudik, urged the women to remain in Ukraine and resist the enemy. In that sense, she pleaded with people not to flee the country, but to pick up arms and fight the Russian soldiers in the streets.
Miss Ukraine was forcibly inducted several years ago and has since participated in various conflicts on behalf of her country.
More than 36,000 women have enlisted in the army and are fighting in the battle thus far.
For his part, Ukraine’s President, Volodimir Zelensky, stated that European individuals who are willing to assist will be equipped with the weaponry necessary to derail Putin’s plot when they arrive in their country.
