Man Caught in the act of burying dead wife of Caucasian Descent in Lahore

A Pakistani man, who was the spouse of an American woman, killed her in Lahore’s Factory Area and was caught while burying her body in the graveyard.

Kazim Khan attempted to bury his wife, but law enforcement officers apprehended him at the cemetery and took him into custody.

According to the authorities, Diana Cristo Khan, the victim, was slain after enduring physical torment from Kazim. They also reported that the police had discovered the murder weapon and that the suspect had been attempting to bury his wife in the cemetery when the gravedigger alerted them. The police further stated that the body of the deceased had been transferred to the mortuary for a post-mortem examination.

The investigation against the accused is ongoing, as confirmed by Superintendent of Police (SP) Cantt Owais Shafiq.

In a similar incident, Shahnawaz Inam, the son of senior journalist Ayaz Amir, and Sarah Inam, a Pakistani-Canadian, were married last year. Three months after their marriage, Sarah Inam was allegedly murdered by Shahnawaz. Following a disagreement over a family matter on September 23, Shahnawaz is accused of killing his wife, Sarah, at home.

The police caught Shahnawaz at a farmhouse located in Islamabad’s Chak Shahzad area, where he was recognized as a potential suspect in the murder of his wife. He confessed to the crime and claimed that he “thought” his wife was having an affair with another person. Their marriage lasted only three months. Following Section 302 of the Pakistan Penal Code (PPC), which deals with the punishment for murder, the police had also filed a first information report (FIR) in response to the complaint lodged by Station House Officer (SHO) Nawazish Ali Khan.
