Malindo Air Resumes Flight Operations in Pakistan

After a brief shutdown in the response of covid-19 which started in March 2020 Malaysian -based airline, Malindo Air has announced to resume flights operation in Pakistan.

It will resume flights between Kuala Lumpur and Lahore from 1st February. Two-way flights twice a week will be operated on Tuesday and Friday, whereas, the Malaysian airline will use the Boeing 737 plane.

The Malindo Air Boeing 737 features 169 seats, the economy has 162 seats, the business class has 5 seats, and the first-class has 2 seats. Officials from the Boeing aerospace industry insist that the Boeing 737 is both safe and reliable.

In a similar development, Thai Airways has also announced to restart its operations from Pakistan. Six weekly flights will resume to Pakistan, officials said with 2 flights from Karachi, 2 from Lahore, and 2 from Islamabad to Bangkok and the world.

Earlier in December last year, a Damascus-based air carrier, Cham Wings Airlines had initiated its flight operation in Pakistan as its first flight landed at Karachi’s Jinnah International Airport. The officials of the Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority (PCAA) gave a water cannon salute upon its arrival.
