Asad Umar, the chief of the National Command and Operation Centre, said that the country has reached a major milestone in its national vaccination campaign.
The federal minister resorted to Twitter to inform the people of the good news.
“A major milestone in the countrywide vaccination campaign has been attained. In Pakistan, 100 million people have been properly vaccinated. At least one dose has been given to almost 127 million people. “We are extremely close to having all eligible citizens vaccinated,” he added.

In Pakistan, the Covid positive rate is 2%, with 755 new cases reported in the last 24 hours.
According to the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC), seven persons died from the Covid-19 disease during that time period.
The total number of deaths has now risen to 30,265 people, with 1,514,258 cases reported.
