A-list actor Mahira Khan wed businessman Salim Karim for the second time in a destination wedding. The two had been longtime friends.
After months of speculation, actress Mahira Khan married her fiancé, businessman Salim Karim, the CEO of a startup located in Pakistan, in a small ceremony held at the 5-star Pearl Continental Hotel in the Bhurban hill station.
The diva made a magical entrance as the bride, walking towards her future husband, Karim, in the first images of the enchanting wedding, captured by celebrity photographer and videographer Izzah Shaheen Malik, also known as Pictroizzah, and exclusively revealed by her manager, Anushay Talha Khan, on the social media site Instagram.
Khan appeared immaculate in her white bridal outfit, complete with a delicate veil, while her husband, visibly moved, looked incredibly stylish in a black sherwani and a blue turban. A few tears welled up in his eyes as he gazed at his bride. It’s worth noting that there were prior reports of Khan’s wedding happening in September of this year, but her manager dismissed them as ‘irresponsible journalism’ without confirming or denying the rumors. There were also speculations about Khan and Karim tying the knot in a Turkish ceremony earlier, but Khan refuted those claims.
Mahira, renowned for her exceptional talent displayed in blockbuster movies like Bol, Manto, Actor In Law, Raees, Verna, and 7 Din Mohabbat In, has remained a beloved figure in the Pakistani entertainment industry. Her latest cinematic project, The Legend of Maula Jatt, garnered critical acclaim in 2023, further solidifying her status as a versatile and accomplished star in the Pakistani film scene.
In an earlier chapter of her life, she was married to Ali Askari in 2007, but the marriage ended in 2015. Mahira and her former spouse share a 13-year-old son named Azlan.
