Katcha area Dacoits Kidnap dancers, Rs. 10 Million demanded as ransom

Dacoits of the Katcha area in Rahim Yar Khan, southern Punjab, kidnapped a nine-member dancing troupe that included a minor and demanded Rs10 million in ransom.

The dance group belongs to Chiniot. At wedding receptions, the band plays. By scheduling the dance company for a program, the thieves caught them. Their phones became silent and stopped responding as the gang traveled from Chiniot to Rahim Yar Khan. An audio sample of a phone call between heirs of the kidnapped people and dacoits is available on 24NewsHD TV.

In exchange for the abductees’ quick release, the dacoits are demanding a ransom payment of Rs 10 million.

The nine-member dance troupe that was abducted also includes a juvenile. The young man frequently posts videos of himself performing on social media. The police have not yet taken any action in this regard.

According to the circular police, they have not received any complaints from the victims’ heirs. The dacoits of the Katcha region in southern Punjab were found to have high-tech Indian weapons, according to a previous investigation by the 24NewsHD TV program. According to the report, the dacoits in the Katcha region were equipped with contemporary machine guns and aircraft cannons.

Police sources were used in the article to confirm that the dacoits also had a significant amount of landmines, hand grenades, and 7-12 MM launchers. Vickers and heavy machine guns, which were unavailable to police, were also in the hands of the robbers. Unlike the Punjab police, who are armed with archaic weaponry, the dacoits use contemporary firearms.

Opposition against the dacoits is currently facing a significant challenge because of the lack of advanced weapons. Because the dacoits are armed with contemporary Indian weapons, police efforts against them are failing. To engage in all-out, victorious combat against the dacoits, the police have demanded sophisticated weaponry and equipment.
