We can all agree that Indian weddings are no less than a movie plot: drama, suspense, and tragedy are all part of the experience. A bride refused to marry her spouse on the wedding day because he was bald, which happened at a recent wedding.
The incident occurred last Wednesday night in the Etawah region of Uttar Pradesh, when the groom, Ajay Kumar, was forced to return home without the bride.
Sadly, the bride found that the groom was hiding his baldness with a wig. The bride noticed that the groom, Ajay Kumar, was especially cautious and changed his customary headpiece several times throughout the garland exchange ceremony.
Someone informed the bride that the groom was actually bald and wearing a wig on his head, which only added to her suspicions. After hearing this, the bride fell down and collapsed on the stage. After regaining consciousness, she declined to marry the man.
The bride asserted categorically that she would never marry a bald man, according to guests. The two sides got into a quarrel when the groom’s side objected, but the elders intervened and smoothed things down.
The girl’s side accused the groom’s side of dishonesty. The groom was forced to return home before he could marry. Attempts by her relatives to persuade her failed, and the barat returned without the bride.
