Climate campaigner Greta Thunberg is currently facing legal issues as a result of being accused of defying a police order while participating in a climate protest in southern Sweden.
The incident took place on June 19 in Malmo, Sweden, where Thunberg took part in a protest organized by the environmental activist group “Reclaim the Future.”
The prosecutor alleges that Thunberg and other protesters disobeyed police orders to vacate the demonstration area. Consequently, she has been accused of disobedience, which, if she is found guilty, carries a penalty of up to a six-month prison term and a fine.
