The claimed kidnapping of a female teacher from Khairpur (Sindh) came to a halt when she stated that she was not kidnapped but married her student at a court in Karachi.
The instructor, who was 23 years old at the time, went missing on January 24, 2022. It was said that she had been kidnapped.
Her mother had filed an abduction complaint with the Gambat police station.
Surprisingly, the boy, who was 20 years old at the time, had gone missing on the same day.
The Khairpur teacher had tied the knot with her ninth-grade student Shahzeb Rajput the day before, according to media updates. Later she sought sanctuary and protection from the local police.
The video of the newlyweds pleading with authorities for safety had gone viral.
