Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) father-daughter combo created history by receiving their PhDs from Peshawar Engineering University on the same day.
Dr Masood Khan, an assistant professor in the Engineering Department at the University of Peshawar, received a PhD in Mechatronics, while his daughter, Dr Nadia Masood, received a PhD in Electrical Engineering.
On the occasion, Dr. Masood stated that he was unable to complete his PhD on time owing to home issues, but that he eventually completed it and felt honoured to get the PhD degree alongside his daughter.
Dr.Nadia Masood, on her part, stated that obtaining a PhD degree was not easy, but she was able to accomplish so thanks to her father’s hard work and support.
