Eminem has recently been declared the musician with the most gold and platinum awards in history, according to Variety. The rapper’s streams on platforms surged following his Super Bowl halftime performance with Dr. Dre, Mary J. Blige, Snoop Dogg, Kendrick Lamar, and 50 Cent.
The Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) awarded Eminem 73.5 million new “Gold & Platinum Program” certificates today. The rapper is currently the most certified musician on the show, and one of only seven artists in any genre or era to win three or more “Diamond Album Awards.”

According to Variety, Eminem’s amended certifications total 227.5 million, with 166 million for singles and 61.5 million for albums.
