The Dilemma of Me, Myself and I

Extremely disappointing speech by Mr. Khan who has lost his false grandeur.

Today he not only smeared the image of Pakistan but also put the country on a cross road. He has slanted foreign policy facts. By putting accusations and playing an anti American card Mr. Khan played with sentiments of Pakistanis.

I am a strong critic of US policies concerning war and terrorism.

But let me clarify again that United States has always tried to help Pakistan in every sector whether it’s education, agriculture, energy, military aid, training programs, dams and water reservoirs, cultural exchange programs, and heritage restoration programs.

There is huge list of joint cooperation between Pakistan and United States. One can’t repudiate that Pakistan has received one of the highest aid from United States compared to any country in the past.

But what’s in the past, is in the past.

Things have changed now after the Afghanistan exit. The United States has changed its strategy from ‘war mongering approach’ now to a more resolving ‘unsettled matters’ approach.

I think Mr. Khan has played his last card and there will be consequences to it.

The letter was received on 7th March 2022 and we hosted OIC FM Summit on 22nd-23rd, where ironically, United States Undersecretary was also invited. Why was this so called letter not shown up then.

Simple fact is that Mr. Khan can’t un-turn things in his favor. His narcissist approach has now touched new levels. Why has Mr. Khan not found another Khan in his 25-year old struggle.

It’s all about the Me, Myself and I – dilemma.
