CALIFORNIA: Singer, actress Jennifer Lopez alias J.Lo and Alex Rodriguez, former professional baseball player and businessman, Thursday officially called it quits weeks after attempting to work through personal issues.
The couple while announcing the two-year engagement mentioned that they are ‘better off as friends and will continue to work together and support each other on shared businesses and projects’.
We wish the best for each other and one another’s children. Out of respect for them, the only other comment we have to say is thank you to everyone who has sent kind words and support, the former couple added.
Sources said the couple called it quits last month but they released a statement at this time saying that they were working through some things.
Jennifer has been married three times. She was first married to Ojani Noa, then Cris Judd, and Marc Anthony which she shares twins while Rodriguez is the dad to two daughters. They started dating in 2017 and announced their engagement in March 2019. They postponed their wedding twice amid the pandemic.
