An audio in which allegedly Maryam Nawaz is instructing to stop advertisements of several channels has surfaced.
According to details, the alleged audio of the instructions given by Maryam Nawaz’s media team during the PML-N regime came to light. In the alleged audio leak, Maryam Nawaz directed to stop advertisements of several channels including ARY.
Maryam Nawaz said that no advertisement will be given to 24News, 92 News, SAMAA and ARY.
On the other hand, responding to Maryam Nawaz’s alleged audio leak, Special Assistant Dr Shahbaz Gill said that let’s see how free journalism responds to this now, which press clubs issue statements on it.
Dr. Shahbaz Gilll said that if everyone stays silent on this issue then it will be proved, some people’s journalism is not free. If everyone will stay silent then it will be proved that some people’s journalism is mortgaged to Maryam. The Special Assistant further said that if this kind of act was observed by PTI then it would cause extreme debate on the liberty of journalism but Now as it is done by PMLN so whole Media wing is silent.
