Following rumours that he had gone missing from Islamabad, former army officer Major (retd) Adil Raja has announced that he has safely joined his family in London.
“I have a lot to say, but I’ll save it for the perfect moment. He stated on his Twitter account on Thursday that if something happened to his mother or other loved ones, he will not care about anyone else.”

Raja’s disappearance was first reported on social media earlier this week when his wife Sabine Kayani wrote about her husband’s absence on Twitter.
I’ve been attempting to reach out to my spouse, @soldierspeaks, but haven’t been successful. No one else has done so. Is there anyone who knows anything about him? She commented on the microblogging site that any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
I've been desperately trying to contact my husband @soldierspeaks but haven't been able to trace him. Neither has anyone else. Does anybody have any information about him? Any help will be most appreciated.

While @soldierspeaks was not present, men purporting to be from the FIA stormed my Mother-in-Law’s Home. Her house is within a few hundred meters of the Army’s residence. We lost contact with my spouse shortly after that, she wrote in another tweet.

Sabine later confirmed that she was able to make contact with her husband. I’ve received word from my husband, and I’d want to share it with you. Alhamdullilah, he is fine and free. Thank you very much for all of your help. “Please remember to pray for us,” she stated.
