JERUSALEM: Syria becomes the second country after Lebanon which fired rockets toward northern areas of the Jewish state amid the retaliation against the continuous Israeli airstrikes on oppressed Palestinians.
The rocket attacks from the West Asia country come as Israel continues air raids on Palestinian protesters which have killed more than 188 civilians, including 55 children and 33 women while 1,230 suffered injuries.
The Syrian force’s response comes days after three rockets were fired from southern Lebanon Thursday which were landed in the sea. The rockets fired from Lebanese territory however caused no damage. ‘No sirens warned of the launch’, the Israeli military said.
