American Restaurant that does NOT allow Vaccinated people

HUNTINGTON: As many states are combating misconceptions about Covid vaccine safety, a bizarre development in the ‘Super power’ US garnered global attention.

It all started when an Italian restaurant in southern California named Basilico’s Pasta e Vino erected a wacky signboard that asked diners to show the ‘proof of being unvaccinated’.

The restaurant’s owner’s behavior isn’t a gimmick as he gravely opposes the whole Covid pandemic. The recent sign that asked for proof of not getting jabbed also added that ‘we have zero tolerance for treasonous, anti-American stupidity’.

The restaurant citing the unproved science and conspiracy theories also shared a tweet on the official handle.

A staffer of the Italian eatery while speaking with a US media outlet said the restaurant is not actually checking the vaccine status and it appeared that the Covid resistance signs are mounted to mock the authorities who directed all businesses to serve to vaccinated members only.

The recent development comes amid stern restrictions related to the resurgence of the novel disease. The Centers for Disease Control also directed fully vaccinated citizens to start to begin wearing masks indoors to curb the alarming rate.

Tony Roman, the restaurant owner furthermore announced to remain fully open – while being ordered to shut down. Besides resistance, it said to ‘attack’ lockdowns, by putting a Do Not Tread on Me, Live Free, or Die flag in front of businesses.

“We understand that masks are the greatest weapons of the lockdowns as they are used to divide Americans, just like the vaccination, and they represent fear, control, and surrender”, the anti-vaxxer Roman wrote on his official handle.

A report of a US media outlet quoting an agency cited that the state Division of Occupational Safety and Health levied more than $152,000 in fines against the restaurant for allegedly breaching covid-19 prevention policies but the owner has neither paid the penalties nor appealed the decision.

Reports in international media further cited that when authorities ordered face coverings to curb virus spread, the restaurant, at that time, also declared it a mask-free zone and required customers to remove it before entering the premises.

As global health officials reiterated overwhelming evidence that vaccines are safe and strong protection, events like these are the backlash against the united campaigns that triggered rebellious rhetoric.
