ISLAMABAD/NEW DELHI: Pakistanis expressed solidarity with Indian neighbours to help them to deal with an enormous surge in new Covid -19 infections that have swamped health services within the second-most populous country in the world.
Celebrities, social activists, along top governance posted heartwarming messages wishing Indians well and offering prayers.
As the novel crisis unites traditional rivals, Bollywood celebrities noted the humanitarian act and expressed their delight to determine the outpouring of affection.

Earlier on Saturday, Prime Minister Imran Khan also expressed his solidarity with the people of India. Taking to his official handle, the premier wrote ‘we must fight this global challenge confronting humanity together. I want to express our solidarity with the people of India as they battle a dangerous wave of #COVID19. Our prayers for a speedy recovery go to all those suffering from pandemics in our neighbourhood and world.

Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi also announced that Pakistan would help India with relief and medical equipment, saying it believes in a policy of humanity.
