NEW YORK – Marijiana activists on April 20 hand out free doobies to all vaccinated New Yorkers in a bid to fasten mass vaccination in the United States as the country tops the list with 31.7 million coronavirus cases.
The activists started a campaign named “Joints for Jabs” placed free joints counters in Union Square Park and other places.
Those adults showed their vaccine card as part of a nationwide vaccination drive to get free joints. Marijuana users only waited ten minutes at most in the spring sunshine.

They showed jab card, gave their email address and a got a doobie to smoke however there seemed to be little verification required to prevent someone from claiming free joint twice.
The activists further added that beside offering free cannabis in NYC, we’re also trying to federally legalize cannabis.
Earlier in March, New York legalized marijuana, with the legislature passing a bill. As per the legislation, people 21 and older will be able to grow and use marijuana.
The state will also set up a regulated, legal marijuana market, with new tax revenues directed to education, drug treatment and prevention, and communities disproportionately hurt by the war on drugs.
In addition, it will automatically wipe out people’s criminal records of marijuana offenses that are no longer illegal.
