On the first day of Eid, the prayers will be held at Ewood Park from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m., according to details. They will also ensure that men and women have separate prayer areas.
Former Premier League winners will also give a complimentary transport service to and from the stadium, and following the prayers, participants will be offered refreshments.
The club issued a statement expressing their delight at the prospect of hosting the Eid prayers at their stadium.
“Rovers have supported Corporation Park’s annual Eid in the Park Festival for many years, and the club is glad to lend further support by hosting this year’s Eid day prayer on the Ewood Park pitch,” the statement stated.
Blackburn is hosting an Eid celebration as part of a series of events aimed at making the United Kingdom a better, more inclusive place.
