Youtubers, tiktokers Now Prohibited From Entering Parliament

TikTokers, YouTubers, and other social media personalities are not allowed inside the secretariat of the national assembly.

Unauthorized social media influencers won’t be allowed on the grounds of the national assembly, according to the specifics. The restriction was put in place as a result of some illegal YouTubers and social media influencers’ misconduct with members of parliament at Gate No. 1 of Parliament House on December 23, 2022.

The National Assembly Secretariat also ruled that only those reporters, journalists, and media professionals who are affiliated with accredited media organizations along with a valid Registration card of a concerned media organization will be granted admission. Influencers on social media who are interested in covering the House’s proceedings can gain entrance to Parliament House by obtaining a PID and a session card that is still valid.

In April 2022, Karachi police detained phony police officers in uniform along with bogus identification documents, in the New Karachi Industrial Area. A bunch of TikTokers who were impersonating police by having phony police employment cards and uniforms were captured by the police officers of the New Karachi Industrial Area. After the suspicious cops were pulled over for a snap check, the revelations were made. All men are TikTokers, and the police officers who conducted the investigation discovered that they were prowling around in uniform while filming videos for social media.

The accused individuals had phony police identification cards, but they had also put Sindh Police license plates on their motorcycles. Umaish, Usama, and Mehdi are among the men that were detained. The young TikTokers used to carry guns when making their films at their college and nearby, according to police statements to the media. A man was detained by Rawalpindi police earlier in March for making TikTok videos while wearing a police uniform. The individual reportedly used to film films while wearing a police uniform and send them to the social media site TikTok. The cops opened an investigation and filed a complaint against TikToker.
