WhatsApp is about to stop working on a variety of Apple phones, and users who wish to keep using it will need to update to a new phone. It has been announced that a batch of iPhones will stop working.
WhatsApp is started to notify certain users that their gadgets will stop working in October 2022, according to the experts at WABetainfo. That’s because, starting this autumn, Apple’s iOS 12 will be the baseline need for all devices.

“Update to the latest version of iOS to continue using WhatsApp,” WhatsApp cautions in the message. After October 24, 2022, WhatsApp will no longer support this version of iOS.”

Along with the iPhone pop-up window, WhatsApp’s support page has been modified to read, “Currently, we provide support for and encourage utilising the following devices: iPhones running iOS 12 and newer, Android running OS 4.1 and newer.”
