Wall Chalking Outside of Nawaz Sharif’s Office in London

On the wall of the Nawaz Sharif office in London, an unknown person spray-painted the words “Chor, Tum Imran Khan Ko Qattal Nahi Kar Saktheh (Thief, You cannot kill Imran Khan)”.

Maryam Nawaz and Nawaz Sharif are at the office at the moment. The wall chalking has not yet been taken down, though. Although such wall chalking is illegal in Britain, no legal action has yet been taken. At the same location, PTI supporters and workers frequently conduct demonstrations.

It is important to note that although wall chalking is a popular kind of cheap advertising and is frequently used to raise awareness of various issues, it is not a more effective method. It’s the incorrect tool for spreading awareness, and it really shouldn’t be permitted for anyone because it defaces national walls. As we moved around, we noticed that the walls were crying. When these walls were first built, they were lovely, but over time, people began painting them, which unluckily had a negative effect. The walls appeared quite soiled as a result of some people’s spraying.

No wall has ever survived chalking, and this is true not just of city walls but of every wall in the nation. However, by this point, we are so accustomed to it that walls without it appear lifeless. In the meantime, an anti-terrorism court (ATC) authorized Rai Qamaruz Zaman’s physical detention for seven days due to allegations that he threatened Imran Khan, the leader of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and a former Prime Minister. After a charge was filed against him for threatening Imran Khan during a PML-N convention in Hafizabad, Rai Qamar Zaman was detained.

More than 24 people, including Atta Tarar, Mohammad Bakhsh Tarar, and former federal health minister Saira Afzal Tarar, have also been charged by the police. Today’s hearing on the case against Zaman was held, and the court authorized his seven-day physical remand. Atta Tarar, Saira Afzal, and Bakhsh Tarar, however, were given provisional release until November 14. In front of the PML-N leadership, Rai Qamar Zaman vowed to assassinate Imran Khan during a rally in Hafizabad and insisted that he had no regrets about the former prime minister’s ouster. PTI claims that Rai stated that Imran Khan should be murdered and that he would kill him if his leadership gave the order in a case filed against him under the Anti-Terrorism Act.
