There are pictures of an alleged faith healer from Kurdistan region of Iraq visiting Islamabad going rounds on the internet.
People, including some senior politicians, are so inquisitive of Mala Ali Kurdistani’s visit that they’ve started posting queries in the Islamabad Deputy Commissioner’s office for an appointment with the Iraqi visitor.
But the person in question seems to be a fraudster whose past videos went viral of his some ‘special’ powers of healing the deaf, blind and other diseases sans any medical consultancy.
Kurdistani was even charged with dupery in Turkey and Saudi Arabia for falsifying the healing processes.
During the visit, he met former premier and Pakistan People’s Party leader Yousaf Raza Gilani, National Assembly Speaker Asad Qaiser and some other dignitaries.
An old report claims that the Turkish police had raided his residence after receiving complaints of mistreatment about him.
Many without knowing his reality are vying for a glance or have a meet-up with him.
