Punjab Chief Minister Parvez Elahi may resign after calling up that he has complete numbers in the Punjab assembly, well placed sourced have informed othernews.pk.
Contrary to popular belief the PTI, PMLQ led Punjab Govt had announced to go for the vote of confidence late on Wednesday night taking on opposition by surprise.
But sources up close to the politics of the Punjab assembly have said that Chief Minister Punjab Parvez Elahi will resign just after showing that he has complete numbers in the assembly.
Deputy Speak Wasiq Qayyum while talking to Waseem Badami in his show said that the vote of confidence will be taken tomorrow (Thursday) saying that there was yet another surprise up PTI’s sleeve to wait for. “There’s another surprise Badami sb, wait for it”, said Deputy Speak Wasiq Qayyum on the show 11th Hour on late Wednesday.
Later in the same show Fawad Ch said that vote of confidence will be taken on Wednesday later in the night refuting the deputy speaker.
Meanwhile Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Senior Vice President Fawad Chaudhry announced on Wednesday that the vote of confidence would be cast by Punjab Chief Minister Parvez Elahi in the following 45 minutes, . Later he tweeted:

The Punjab Assembly is currently in session, and for the third day in a row, members from the treasury and opposition benches have resorted to shouting and commotion.

Fawad said that 185 MPs from the PTI and Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q) were present in the session, with two more on their way to the assembly, in an interview with a private television network.
