Students thrash Teacher in India for getting Low Grades

According to press reports from India, a math instructor was allegedly beaten by pupils for allegedly awarding inadequate grades in Class 9th practical exams. According to the information, 11 out of 32 kids at a residential school in the Dumka region of Jharkhand received Grade “DD” (Double D), which is regarded as the equivalent of failing, in the class 9th exam.

Suman Kumar, their math teacher, was beaten after being tied to a tree by the pupils and a member of the staff. Additionally, the kids intimidated the teacher to raise their grades. On social media, a video of the incident has gained a lot of attention.

Interestingly, the students claimed they received subpar grades on purpose. The student asked to see their practical papers, but the principal allegedly refused them. When they approached the clerk, he declined to investigate their inquiry.

However, contrary to what the Indian media stated, the school did not submit a First Information Report (FIR) or file charges against the children. In the Dumka event, it appears that the circumstances were reversed. In most cases, reports of teachers abusing their charges result in serious suffering for the kids—and occasionally even death.

A schoolteacher in Jalore assaulted a Dalit youngster earlier this month for touching a water pot. Both the student’s ear and eye were hurt. The youngster was rushed to a hospital for treatment, but after receiving a brutal beating, he passed away there. According to reports, the police detained the teacher and accused him of the murder of the tight guidelines that safeguard India’s scheduled castes and tribes. In a separate incident, a teacher at a private school in Agra is accused of beating a pupil in Class 2nd unconscious with a stick because he was not wearing a T-shirt. The teacher was questioned by authorities, and the pupil was sent to the hospital for treatment. But no formal complaint had been submitted.
