Saudi Prince in Coma makes movement after 17 Years

Prince Al Waleed bin Khaled bin Talal, often known as “the sleeping prince,” who was in a coma for more than 15 years following a vehicle accident, was featured in a video posted by Princess Rima bint Talal showing that he made some movements.

The prince, the grandson of Saudi billionaire investor Alwaleed bin Talal, was hospitalized following an automobile accident in 2005. Princess Rima wished her beloved God’s protection, healing, and restoration on Twitter. The Saudi flag with the words ‘our country is in our hearts’ is draped over Prince Al Waleed in the video posted by Princess Rima, the sister of Prince Khaled bin Talal. Prince Al Waleed is shown hooked to a life support machine.

Since 2005, he has remained in a coma with little to no improvement. Prince Khaled, his father, wishes for a full recovery for his son. Why don’t you disconnect your child’s machines, someone questioned me. I said that my son would be buried if it had been God’s desire for him to perish in the collision, as Prince Khaled had said. His sister, Princess Noura bint Talal, posted a video of Prince Al Waleed flexing his fingers on Twitter in October 2020.

He was in a major vehicle accident in London when he was 18 years old. Because they are confident that “God is able to bring him back to life,” the millionaire’s family does not want to cut him off. He spent over ten years in the intensive care unit of a Riyadh hospital following his horrible accident. He moved into the family home seven years ago, according to a report by journalist Francisco Carrión in an El Mundo article.

His health was the subject of numerous speculations on social media for a while, with some even putting him down as dead. In 2020, Khaled bin Talal declared that God, who has protected his soul for more than ten years, is able to restore him back to life. Al Walid and Mohamed are the grandsons of Al Walid bin Talal, a wealthy businessman in Saudi Arabia. The owner of Kingdom Holding, the company that gathers assets from throughout the world and has a worth that Forbes magazine estimates at $17,000 million (approximately 14,000 million euros), is the most unconventional and liberal of the Saudi princes. He has millions of followers on social media and possesses stock in Disney, Four Seasons, Citigroup, Apple, Twitter, and Apple.
