On Wednesday, Fazal Elahi, a member of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, went to Peshawar’s Rehman Baba grid station and turned on the tripped feeder himself.
The footage of the PTI MPA, in which he is seen carrying a weapon in his pocket, has gone popular on social media.
According to Fazal Elahi, Wapda resumed load shedding during Ramadan. “I went to the grid station to help the folks,” he continued, “and I was able to restore the grid station’s electrical supply.”
He carries a gun to protect himself, according to Fazal Elahi.
Individuals in KP, he claimed, are now being targeted simply for their support for Imran Khan.
