BRISTOL: Congratulations are in order for the elder son of Pakistan’s Prime Minister Imran Khan as he [Kasim Khan] has graduated from Bristol University in the Islamic History.
Prime Minister, who contracted the deadly Covid-19 and is in self-isolation, could not attend the son for the graduation meetup.
Kasim, born in the year 1999, is the eldest brother among the two sons. Both siblings lived with their mother, Jemima Khan, who had returned to Britain following the divorce with Imran Khan. Prime Minister’s sons used to visit him during their school vacations.
The maternal family of the young Khan is Goldsmith, the Anglo-French billionaire and prominent business tycoon family of Britain.
Earlier, the Pakistani premier was spotted in the Gilgit Baltistan region of Pakistan. The rare photo gained extraordinary attention on social media as the premier is hardly seen spending time with his sons.
Former legend cricketer turned politician Imran Khan first married Jemima Goldsmith and after the divorce, the PTI leader married the British Pakistani journalist Reham Khan. The marriage also didn’t go well as it only lasted less than a year. In the year 2018, Khan then married Bushra Bibi – who is former wife of Khawar Manika and a spiritual mentor.
