PIA gets placement among world’s best airlines

Emerging victorious from the deep pits of disgrace, Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has successfully managed to get a spot among the Best Airlines in the world that hold the safest operating records after attaining perfect safety ratings from the European air safety watchdog – Safety Audit for Foreign-Origin Aircraft (SAFA), with zero index.

The SAFA holds regular and surprise checks for all the non-European Airlines at different airports all over the world.

The national flag carrier of Pakistan, being under continuous scrutiny ever since the pilots’ license scandal emerged, was subjected to more rigorous audit checks at most of the international airports by SAFA inspectors. But since last few weeks, the watchdog found PIA maintaining zero index, which is considered a high score.

However, with zero findings being recorded by SAFA since last few weeks, it has lowered it safety hazard index to zero, which is a perfect score. The airline CEO, Air Marshal Arshad Malik thanked Almighty Allah for His blessings and congratulated his team for tirelessly working to achieve this top-notch ratings.

He said that more stringent in-house safety checks are being made on all international flights. Moreover, a new safety awareness culture has also been launched in PIA whereby career incentives are given to those workers whom follow the company’s regulations.

Malik added that the airline has offered professional support to the regulatory authority in Pakistan as well, assisting them to clear the ICAO Audit in November this year, paving the way for resumption of flights to the western countries.
