NADRA Introduces the Newest Pak ID Mobile App

By launching a beta version of its next-generation Pak ID mobile app, the National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has brought its ID services to the mobile screens of Pakistani residents.

Now, citizens can use the app to process applications for their identity cards and documents. They can receive their ID documents delivered to their door after completing the complete application process using this app from home. With the use of the Pak ID mobile app, citizens may now apply for their identity documents, like CNICs and family registration certificates, without going to NADRA offices and skipping the long lines and wait times.

The updated version of Pak ID Mobile, according to Chairman Nadra Tariq Malik, has a built-in document recognition system and contactless biometric verification, which allow users to enjoy a good experience through a full range of ID issuance services, including uploading and submitting documents, taking photos and fingerprints, and adding digital signatures using smartphones. By enhancing service delivery, this cutting-edge strategy would help Pakistan achieve its aim of becoming a digital nation, according to Tariq Malik. All citizens, both those who reside domestically and those who travel, are promised the greatest level of convenience by the app.

It might also add to Nadra’s already impressive list, which already includes the distinction of being the first country in the world to execute multi-biometric document submission and capture.

CNIC to be converted into digital wallets by NADRA

“The software has been designed utilizing Contactless Technology which totally digitalizes the experience of collecting ID documents only using a smartphone,” the chairman Nadra remarked. Nadra really appreciates any helpful input provided by residents that may be shared with Nadra via the in-app survey.
