Mo Salah Stops to Take Pictures with a Newlywed Couple in Egypt

The Liverpool star will lead his nation against Liberia next Tuesday and Niger on Friday after returning to his native land.

Salah kindly took some time out of his busy schedule to pose for a picture with the bride and groom, giving them a memory they won’t soon forget. The video is allegedly from Egypt’s team hotel in Alexandria. Salah made his appearance for a brief moment before hurriedly leaving to continue getting ready for the forthcoming games. The Egyptian is usually pleased to spend time with his fans when it is possible, so this is not the first time we have witnessed such a kind act from him.

With Senegal defeating Egypt in the Africa Cup of Nations final and Senegal eliminating Egypt from the World Cup, he has had a difficult year with Egypt. However, the Liverpool No. 11 still seems upbeat as he prepares for his country’s most recent friendly. Salah hasn’t played since scoring in the Reds’ 2-1 Champions League triumph over Ajax last week since last weekend’s Premier League match against Chelsea was postponed.

He has failed to produce at his best thus far this season, much like the rest of the club, but his performance against the Dutch champs was unquestionably more encouraging. Before the international break, Salah shared several pictures of himself working out hard in the gym. His next game for the Reds is likely to be on Saturday, October 1, when they visit Brighton. For the time being, it’s pleasant to see him smiling, and the fortunate couple who had the good fortune to meet him now has a memory they won’t soon forget.

Egypt lost in a playoff to Senegal, the African champions, and was unable to go to this year’s World Cup in Qatar. Salah will be allowed to leave the team early to rejoin Liverpool and concentrate on his club football.

With two victories and nine points after six games, the Reds have had a dismal start to the season and are currently seated eighth in the Premier League table. Salah has only managed three goals for Jurgen Klopp’s team in eight games this season, falling short of his 31 goals total from the previous campaign. Amid rumors over his future, he recently signed a new contract with the club.
