The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has confirmed Iftikhar Ghumman, the PTI leader’s security chief, was taken into custody. Iftikhar Ghumman was apprehended during a home raid, the FIA representative claimed in a statement.
A money laundering charge against Ghumman was also mentioned by the representative. Imran Khan expressed his disapproval of the arrest in a tweet, writing, the DPO stated before the Sessions Judge in DIK that he would file a contempt case but would have to take custody of Ali Amin since instructions came “from above” when Ali Amin was taken.

Iftikhar Ghumman, who oversees my security, was kidnapped today. All of this is a part of the London Plan, which promised to annihilate PTI and gave Nawaz Sharif peace of mind. As a result, in complete violation of the Constitution and Rule of Law, people connected to me and my leadership are currently being harassed, kidnapped, tortured, and challenged with fabricated charges throughout Pakistan,” he continued.
Fawad Chaudhry, president of the PTI, also denounced the detention of Ghumman. He said that retaliatory measures are being taken against the PTI leaders and employees. Iftikhar Ghumman, Imran Khan’s security advisor, was allegedly “abducted” in a “fake case,” according to his claims. He criticized the authorities’ decision to detain Iftikhar Ghumman.
