Engulfed into agitation by local politicians and continuous rising inflation, the embattled Prime Minister of Pakistan – Imran Khan has bagged the UAE’s Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Creative Sports Award.
In a report by Gulf News, United Arab Emirates has conferred the coveted award due to Khan’s contribution to sports along with taking the Pakistan cricket team to glorious victory of the Cricket World Cup of 1992.
A ceremony to declare the winners of the Creative Sports Award was conducted the other day in Dubai. The Prime Minister has been requested to get his award on 9th of January next year at Expo 2020, Dubai.
This news was shared by Senator Faisal Javed Khan, who is also a close official of the premier, on his Twitter handle. He said the award honours people with marvelous feats in their lives and contributions internationally.
The coveted award pays tributes to teams, persons and organizations who made important sporting contributions in Emirates and internationally. It also aimed at celebrating and promoting the best projects in the sporting arena.
