Gold price in Pakistan breaks record at Rs 143,600 per tola

In Pakistan, gold continued to shine as the Pakistani rupee fell further against the US dollar and reached Rs 143,600 per tola.

According to the All Sindh Sarafa Jewelers Association (ASSJA), the price of gold per tola has increased by Rs. 1950. Meanwhile, the price rose by Rs 1,672 per 10 grams to Rs 123,114.


Today, with the recent rise of Rs 1,950 per tola, the price of gold has risen by a total of Rs 5,250 in the last four days.

The fall in the value of the rupee, which hit a record low of Rs 201.41 against the US dollar in the inter-bank market, has forced gold traders to significantly increase the value of the gold as Pakistan meets the domestic demand for the precious yellow.
