Girl Shot by Classmate at School in Karachi

In a school in Karachi’s Orangi Town, a female student was shot and hurt by a classmate, according to a report from ARY News. A gun belonging to a fellow student named Fazalullah went off in the classroom, gravely injuring the girl, a matriculation student, at a school in Karachi’s Orangi Town neighborhood.

Immediately after being hurt, the young woman was sent to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for initial care. The event occurred in one of the classes, according to the school’s administration, and the student was hurt as a consequence of a gunshot.

The teenager who had a firearm with him to school, according to the authorities, fled after the shots were fired. Family members of Fazalullah have reportedly turned off their cell phones, according to the school administration. Whether the gunshot was fired mistakenly or as part of a murder attempt is the subject of a police inquiry. The victim was identified by the police as Ehsan Akhtar, who died as a result of the shooting used by a young man named Luqman, according to the police. The AK-47 semi-automatic rifle, which Luqman reportedly got inside the coaching facility without difficulty, is said to have been used to kill Ehsan Akhtar. A Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) from East named Tariq Mastoi arrived at the scene of the incident. A few days ago, two pupils got into a fight in the coaching center, but the administration was able to resolve it, he informed the reporters.
