Girl creates 30 fake Insta profiles to frame ex for stalking, gets jailed after succeeding for a few times

An ex-girlfriend was sentenced to ten months in prison for using Instagram accounts to send herself texts in order to frame her ex-boyfriend for stalking.

She succeeded by getting her ex-boyfriend six times on accusations of domestic violence and stalking, and a stalking protection order was issued against him. He was released with an electronic tag and a home curfew, and he also lost his job. Later everything was overturned.

According to Mirror UK, Courtney Ireland Ainsworth created up to 30 false Instagram accounts before telling police that her ex-partner Louis Jolly was behind the ‘vile’ messages she claimed were sent to her.

Jolly was accused of harassing and stalking Courtney Ireland Ainsworth, who filed ten police reports.

Her ex-boyfriend was arrested six times on accusations of domestic violence and stalking, and a stalking protection order was issued against him. He was released with an electronic tag and a home curfew, and he also lost his job.

Jolly, who is 22 years old, said they dated for two years before breaking up on ‘good terms’ in October 2019, soon before Ireland-Ainsworth began dating Declan Rice.

The case of Ireland-Ainsworth, who is 20 years old, was heard in Liverpool Crown Court. Prosecutor Paul Blasbery said she contacted the police several times between July 15 and December 13, 2020, supplying images of chats and the IDs of false Instagram profiles she assigned to her victim.

According to the court, Jolly allegedly stalked Ireland-Ainsworth, her friends, and her new partner, videotaped her walking down the street and emailed it to her, verbally and physically assaulted her, and falsely claimed she was using cocaine. He also allegedly smashed furniture in her home, hurled a brick through her grandmother’s window, and threatened to stab her and her boyfriend, according to her.

On December 12, 2020, she was arrested and questioned, confessing, before the Crown Prosecution Service dropped the stalking and assault allegations against her.

According to Mirror UK, Paul Blasbery revealed, “She claimed her ex-boyfriend Mr Jolly was harassing her, but in order for the police to believe her, she submitted bogus communications to the police so that they would take it seriously.”

Despite having no prior convictions, Ireland-Ainsworth admitted to perverting the course of justice. Jim Smith, the defence counsel, stated that his client was 19 years old at the time, immature, and diagnosed with ‘complex’ post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). Recorder Harris reduced Ireland-sentence Ainsworth’s and gave her full credit for her guilty plea due to her mental health difficulties.
