Fly Jinnah makes debut Flight to Islamabad

On Monday, Fly Jinnah, a new low-cost airline in the country, took off. It traveled from Karachi to Islamabad Airport, where it was met with the traditional salute from the water cannon.

The airline held an inauguration ceremony for its first flight at a nearby hotel to formally begin operations. The ceremony was attended by senior executives from the Lakson Group, Air Arabia Group, and other companies as well as representatives of the Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority.

The creation of a joint venture airline with Karachi as its hub was announced by the Lakson and Air Arabia organizations in September 2021. The airline now operates a fleet of three Airbus A320-200S daily direct flights from Karachi to Islamabad, Lahore, and Peshawar. Quetta and Karachi can be reached directly four times per week. Fly Jinnah Chairman Iqbal Ali Lakhani said during the ribbon-cutting ceremony that today’s accomplishment represents the start of Fly Jinnah’s operations. We hope that Fly Jinnah will offer its customers a useful form of air travel that is supported by affordable goods and services.

According to Adel Al Ali, the group CEO of Air Arabia, today is a significant day because Fly Jinnah is taking to the skies. The carrier’s strategic dedication to offering safe and reasonably priced air travel to its Pakistani customer base is demonstrated by this action. As the airline’s business grows, it plans to expand its fleet. Fly Jinnah is just one of the numerous fresh airlines that have sprung up during the world pandemic. After all international air travel restrictions were lifted, demand for air transit skyrocketed. This demand has hastened the recovery of many airlines whose operations were hindered and whose finances were destroyed during the COVID-19 lockdowns.

The established airlines have benefited from the sudden increase in demand, and other airlines looking to expand their networks now have new opportunities. The need for air travel has increased significantly in Pakistan, as it has in many other countries, as a result of the pandemic.

‘Fly Jinnah’: Air Arabia joins hand with Lakson Group to launch budget-friendly airline in Pakistan

The commencement of Fly Jinnah’s operations has been anticipated for a few months. Once operations are up and operating, the high demand levels of 2022 will be beneficial. With winter getting closer, demand is gradually declining. This winter, there is still a higher demand for overseas flights than there was last year. Within a few years, it’s forecast that air travel will reach record highs, and the industry predicts summer 2019 demand levels. The startup company wants to make headway in the aviation industry as soon as possible, so this is great news.
