Feroze Khan notifies Sharmeen Chinoy, Osman Khalid Butt, Mira Sethi, Minal Khan, Aiman Khan, Sarwat Gilani, Yasir Hussain, Farhan Saeed, Asim Azhar along with Ex wife

In response to various artists making unfounded and untrue accusations against the actor, Feroze Khan submitted defamation warnings to 11 celebrities in addition to his wife.

“Defamation legal notice has been sent by my legal team to those for [posting] false and unsubstantiated charges,” the Khaani actor wrote on Twitter. After Khan’s ex-wife, Syeda Aliza Sultan accused him of physical and emotional abuse throughout their four years of marriage, various famous people stood by her side in 2017.

In favor of her call for Khan’s accountability, many celebrities come forward. Khan’s attorney, Faique Ali Jagirani, revealed in an interview with The Express Tribune that the actor’s ex-wife, Syeda Aliza Sultan, as well as the filmmakers Musaddiq Malek, and Sharmeen Obaid Chinoy, the actors Osman Khalid Butt, Mira Sethi, Minal Khan, Aiman Khan, Sarwat Gilani, Yasir Hussain, and Farhan Saeed, as well as the singer Asim Azhar.

“The artists who have been served, have made various false accusations about Feroze Khan on social media, either directly or indirectly,” Jagirani told the publication. “We’ve allowed Feroze Khan’s colleagues to respond to the claims by sending them defamation legal notifications. Either present evidence to back up your allegation or apologize in front of the people.”

Additionally, Khan’s attorney said: “You cannot simply get away with anything you feel like in the modern era of social media. To guarantee that justice is served promptly, we have followed the law. We have all the information necessary to convict the actors indicated above of participating in a hostile online campaign against Feroze Khan.” The defendants are criticized in a copy of the court record provided to The Express Tribune for posting “false and defamatory claims on social media about their client, Feroze Khan, without any proof or evidence.”

In the legal notice, it was further stated that “unfounded allegations were made for which no official FIR was launched, which led to defamation and character assassination as a result of which my client is continuously suffering from the financial loss of approximately Rs20 million and mental torture since September 21, 2022.”

It stated that a custody dispute between Khan and Sultan’s two children was the subject of the notice. Additionally, according to the legal team representing the Tich Button actor, Sultan has not brought any legal action against anyone for domestic abuse and none is currently ongoing. It was stated in the notice that “party number 1 [Sultan] leveled several false, falsified, invented charges of domestic violence against my client as such act was done completely on mala fide motives and ulterior objective of damaging his professional reputation.”

The court document then turned to the artists, stating that they had put comments on Khan’s blog without the latter’s consent or any other justification. They [the defendants] made defamatory statements and comments in interviews and news conferences starting in October, according to the statement in the document. “The actor suffered greatly as a result of your false, unsupported charges, and he was roundly condemned by the public.” Finally, Khan’s legal team demands that the defendants either provide a formal written apology and give proof of mistreatment or pay the full sum of damages.

A response from the defendants must be submitted within 15 days.
