Britney Spears’ wedding was disrupted when her ex-husband, Jason Alexander, showed there, according to reports.
Mr Alexander streamed a live video from his Instagram account as he approached the event at her Thousand Oaks, California, home.
Mr Alexander approached a security guard and told that Ms Spears had invited him, according to the video posted by TMZ. After some resistance, he threatened to destroy her big day. Mr Alexander, on the other hand, managed to gain access to Ms Spears’ home and continued to live stream from there. He was held by the security staff at the event before police arrived.
Britney Spears and Jason Alexander married on the spur of the moment in Las Vegas in 2004, but their union was canceled 55 hours later.
“He has been held shackled and arrested for his horrible criminal misconduct,” Ms Spears’ attorney Mathew Rosengart said in a statement to USA TODAY.
Mr Alexander has a history of spying around Ms Spears’ family’s residences, while openly supporting her during her contentious conservatorship lawsuit.
Ms. Spears, meantime, married Mr. Asghari on Thursday after nearly six years of dating. They met on the set of a music video in 2016.

They announced their engagement in September 2021, two months before Ms Spears won a legal battle with her family and was released from a 13-year conservatorship.
According to People, Drew Barrymore, Madonna, Paris Hilton, and Kathy Hilton were among the 60 guests that attended the wedding. Ms. Spears wore a Versace gown and walked down the aisle to the song Can’t Help Falling in Love by Elvis Presley.
Britney Spears is married for the third time. Her second husband was Kevin Federline. She has two sons, ages 14 and 15, from her two-year marriage to him. In 2007, their divorce was finalised.
