A young fan’s day in the hospital was made better on New Year’s Eve by Pakistani captain Babar Azam and veteran wicket-keeper batsman Mohammed Rizwan. Babar surprised Pakistan’s biggest fan by dropping by the hospital and presenting him with the team hat, which made the child even happier.
Babar and the fan discussed Babar’s forthcoming role as Peshawar Zalmi’s head coach in the Pakistan Super League (PSL). Babar was traded to the squad from the Karachi Kings before the start of the 2023 campaign. During the interview, the cricket fan named Shadab Khan, Shaheen Shah Afridi, and Mohammad Rizwan as three of his favorite cricketers. Babar then probed him about wanting to speak with Rizwan. The fan nodded his head and Rizwan joined them on a video call.

The young fan continued by expressing his unwavering desire for the squad to succeed. He sobbed a lot when they lost the semi-finals, the child remarked later in a talk with Rizwan (World Cup 2021). He was depressed about Pakistan’s loss as Matthew Wade smacked sixes. Rizwan responded that they too sobbed a lot. The team will triumph in the future, inshallah. He sees that people are criticizing us a lot, but it doesn’t matter, the fan stated after that. They will keep up the good job, and they will have the best team ever.
Pakistan’s Babar-led team drew their final international match of 2022 against New Zealand during a thrilling day five in Karachi. Cricket fans were stunned by Babar’s unexpected declarations throughout the day, and the visitors appeared to be on track to chase the score when poor lighting resulted in a draw. When Rizwan was dropped after a disastrous series with the bat against England, Sarfaraz Ahmed was able to reenter the playing XI after nearly four years. After the first Test finished in a tie, they will play the second Test against New Zealand on January 2.
