Alleged audio clip of Former CJP encountered by SAMAA TV

The mystery has begun to unravel around an audio clip being attributed to former Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Saqib Nisar. A factcheck report from SAMAA TV revealed that the audio clip was produced by “piecing together” separate speeches of former CJP Nisar.

An audio clip published on Sunday depicted Former Chief Justice Of Pakistan talking about Maryam Nawaz Sharif and Former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif. The audio clip was categorically denied by Saqib Nisar who said it is completely fabricated.

The audio clip was published by Factfocus, which claimed that it has been through forensic investigation and that an American firm Garret Discovery says that the audio clip is genuine and unedited. however, when reached out by Samaa TV they refused to comment saying they would if their client FactFocus allows them to do so. Hence, more development is expected on the issue today.

Now Original video clip of Saqib Nisar surfaced after fake audio clip. The original video clip shows Saqib Nisar addressing a public gathering in which he said that “Let me be a little frank about it. Let me be a little blunt about it, be loud about it. Unfortunately, here in (Pakistan), we are getting desirable decisions.”

Fact Focus is “a Pakistan-based digital media news organization working on data-based investigative news stories,” according to the bio on its website. Its owner Ahmad Nomani previously worked with The News International.
