It seems that there is a season of political leaks flooding the mainstream media with the latest in the row is the alleged audio leak of PML-N vice president Maryam Nawaz.
In a recently surfaced audio, the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz vice president is allegedly having a conversation with someone about Editor-in-Chief of Geo and Jang, Mir Shakeel-ur-Rehman.
She can be heard enforcing her stance on GEO group. According to the exact interpretation of her audio, she said: “You are showing facts from both quarters, this is not fair. You people should show that Imran Khan is a liar. I talked to Mir Shakeel about this and he did it. Nawaz Sharif went on to say the same thing to Mian Amir, owner of Dunya Media Group. He said: “Now see what I do with him.”
It is to be noted here that the audio of Maryam Nawaz’s media team surfaced earlier under the PML-N tenure, which the party confessed that it was Maryam’s voice. The PML-N leader told several media networks of stopping advertising in a previous audio leak.
